Jeff Haney serves as Executive Vice President of Operations for Fierro Communications, Inc., where he works closely with company president Mark Fierro in developing and directing all media, marketing, research, consulting and public relations strategies for Fierro Communications’ clients including those in business, government, the legal field and cutting-edge high technology.
For FCI’s Trial Research Analytics division, Haney takes the lead in analyzing and interpreting focus research and mock trial data as well as writing FCI’s final comprehensive report on each focus research package. Prominent attorneys have praised this analysis for its proven propensity to “put steel in your spine” leading up to jury selection, crafting of opening statements, and ultimately trial.
Previously, Haney was an award-winning journalist as a columnist and editor for daily newspapers, including more than 10 years at the Las Vegas Sun. His writing, including featured cover stories, columns, and technical analysis, has also appeared in numerous publications including Vegas Legal Magazine and Las Vegas Weekly, among many others. He has been quoted as an authority on Las Vegas and gambling in numerous outlets including The New York Times.
With Fierro Communications, Haney served as the editor of the book “Road Rage in Las Vegas,” written by Mark Fierro and an Amazon top seller in the true crime category upon its release. Haney is also the author of a highly acclaimed book on the Las Vegas sports and gaming scene, “Bettors, Boxers, Wiseguys and Wannabes.” An accomplished drone pilot, his drone footage has been used to great effect on many corporate videos for Fierro Communications clients.
Haney is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. His strengths include resourcefulness, writing skills, and a proven ability to quickly understand and explain even the most technical concepts in clear, easy-to-grasp language.
